We worship in Kincraig every week, morning and have one monthly evening service.

Whilst, obviously, most of our congregation live locally we have members as far away as Iraq and, together with other Christian interests in Nepal & Uganda, these contacts help us to enjoy a sense of being part of the worldwide Christian church.

We hope you will enjoy and use this site.

We also hope to welcome you to the church if you are in the area.

Any constructive feed back you might have which will help us to improve both the site and our work should be directed to our email address.

We come from every background and all age groups.

We enjoy a variety of styles of worship led by members from the youngsters of the JAM Gang (primary age) to those whose ages are their own business!

We have an active JAM (Jesus and Me) Gang led by a large group of helpers and, mid-week in one of our homes, we hold meetings under the banner ‘X-cel’ for young adults

“ Fresh” is our discipleship group for S1-4 and meets in the garage at 9.30 am on Sunday. We welcome any young person who wants to learn more about how to live with Jesus as their guide. We try to build faith in interactive ways that are relevant to the lives of young people .. For information contact Alistair Appleby 01540651623

 Welcome
 to you.

The heart of the Parish of Alvie & Insh, is the village of Kincraig ,just north of Kingussie and south of Aviemore in Inverness-shire.

Our church is linked with the neighbouring parish of Rothiemurchus and Aviemore and both parishes share our minister, Rev. Ron Whyte, who has his manse in  Aviemore.

Ours, like many in the Scottish Highlands, is  a rural community made up of several large estates including Alvie, Dunachton and nearby Rothiemurchus Estate.

The area, which is very beautiful, is set within the Cairngorms National Park.

In the Park area  and close by us are opportunities for skiing, fishing, walking, watersport, moutaineering, biking and lots more.

We are much involved in the work of the Cairngorms Christian Centre which is a self-catering unit with sleeping for groups up to 40 in Kincraig.....

and ... most important of all, we seek to be God’s people here and believe we have an important role to play in being here and being real for the Gospel of Christ.
